Michael C. Zogby, deputy chair of the national product liability and mass tort group, and co-chair of the health and life sciences litigation team, was appointed to the board of directors of the Trial Attorneys of America.
This national organization of first-chair trial counsel, founded in 1969, is limited to 200 attorneys who devote a substantial portion of their practice to the defense of product liability litigation and to corporate counsel who work primarily in that area.
Zogby’s trial practice includes the defense of multinational manufacturers in products liability, intellectual property, trade secret, antitrust, and commercial disputes and in mass tort, class action, and multidistrict proceedings. He also counsels global clients on data privacy, governance and security, crisis management, and coordination of cross-border trial issues and discovery. In addition to his active practice, Zogby is an elected member of the Products Liability Advisory Council and of the International Association of Defense Counsel and is a Trustee of the Trial Attorneys of New Jersey. He serves on the faculty of the National Trial Advocacy College at the University of Virginia School of Law, and has lectured on trial ethics for practitioners at Fordham University School of Law.
