Intellectual property partner Paul Luehr has been selected as a member of Cybersecurity Docket’s “Incident Response 40” for 2021, which recognizes the best data breach response attorneys. Luehr was first named to the “Incident Response 30” list in 2018.
Luehr partners with clients to optimize their privacy and cybersecurity practices, from risk management to incident response. As the leader of the firm’s privacy and cybersecurity team, Luehr understands that cybersecurity crises can be profoundly costly, and they can strike organizations across a wide range of industries. Drawing from 25 years on the cutting edge of data privacy and cybersecurity — including experience investigating and prosecuting cybercrimes with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the Department of Justice (DOJ) — Luehr helps clients avoid becoming a cautionary tale. He has led investigations into several of the top data breaches on record.
According to Cybersecurity Docket, this year’s members “not only have the right stuff to manage a data breach response but are also the kind of professionals critical to have on speed-dial” when a data breach occurs. The 40 honorees were announced at the end of Cybersecurity Docket’s virtual Incident Response Forum Masterclass on April 8, 2021.
Luehr earned his bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and his Juris Doctor from the UCLA School of Law.
