FaegreBD Names Christine Kain and Ruben Gonzalez to 2019 LCLD Programs

Faegre Baker Daniels has selected Christine Kain to be a member of the Leadership Counsel on Legal Diversity’s (LCLD) 2019 class of Fellows, and Ruben Gonzalez to be a member of the organization’s 2019 Pathfinders Program.

The LCLD fellows program was created to identify, train and advance the next generation of leaders in the legal profession. The program has trained more than 1,600 mid-career attorneys since 2011 and is one of LCLD’s most important initiatives.

Kain is a partner in the firm’s product liability practice in Minneapolis and defends pharmaceutical, medical device, food and beverage, and other manufacturers in class actions, mass torts, product liability and consumer fraud cases.

The Pathfinder program was designed to train early-career attorneys in critical career development strategies including leadership and the building of professional networks.

Gonzalez is an associate in the FaegreBD’s product liability practice in Chicago and represents clients in product liability litigation. He also collaborates with clients and colleagues on internal investigations, commercial litigation, employment litigation, real estate litigation and construction litigation.

Founded in 2009, LCLD is a growing organization of more than 300 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners who are personally committed to creating a more diverse and inclusive legal profession. For more information, visit www.lcldnet.org.
