Kaitlyn Stone Elected to Volunteer Lawyers for Justice Board of Trustees

New Jersey associate Kaitlyn Stone, a volunteer attorney and supporter of Volunteer Lawyers for Justice (VLJ) since 2014, has been elected to the organization’s board of trustees. VLJ is a nonprofit that seeks to improve the lives of economically disadvantaged adults, children and families in New Jersey by empowering them with tools, advice and pro bono representation, with the goal of securing fair and equal treatment within the legal system. For the past two years, Kate served as co-chair of the organization’s Generation Now Committee, which engages young lawyers interested in pro bono work and supports VLJ’s fundraising efforts by hosting an annual young lawyer networking event. VLJ’s board of trustees handles strategic, funding, regulatory, awareness and planning initiatives for the nonprofit.
