Faegre & Benson Attorney a Panelist at the Eighth Circuit Judicial Conference

Faegre & Benson is pleased to announce the participation of Del Ehrich, a partner in the firm's litigation and environmental and natural resource groups, as a panelist in the recent Eighth Circuit Judicial Conference, August 12, 2010.

Ehrich's panel, "How Judges and Lawyers Interact Across the Bar, Including How to Persuade a Judge In the Twenty-First Century," was chaired by the Honorable D. Price Marshall, Jr., United States District Court for the District of Arkansas.  Ehrich and the panelists provided insight into the changing legal profession and how lawyers can, should, and will continue to persuade judges in the twenty-first century. Judge Marshall and the panelists also explored the uses and abuses of technology in the courtroom, the techniques to focus busy judges on what really matters about a case, and the differences between jury and bench trials.

The presentation was attended by lawyers and judges from the states in the 8th Circuit (Minnesota, Iowa, Arkansas, Missouri, North Dakota, and South Dakota).
