Faegre & Benson Announces New Chair, Members of Management Committee

Faegre & Benson LLP is pleased to announce that Andrew G. Humphrey (partner, Minneapolis) became chair of the firm's nine-member management committee on March 1 and that the firm's partners elected Kathlyn E. Noecker (partner, Minneapolis) and Leslie A. Fields (partner, Denver) to the committee.

First elected to the committee in 2005, Humphrey succeeds Thomas G. Morgan (partner, Minneapolis), who has served as chair since March 2004.

Andrew G. Humphrey. With more than 20 years experience as a corporate lawyer, Humphrey focuses his practice primarily in the areas of general corporate counseling, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financing and securities regulation. He is recognized as a leading lawyer in Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business and The Best Lawyers in America, as well as other publications. Humphrey earned his undergraduate degree from Amherst College and his law degree from the University of Chicago Law School, where he was an editor of the Law Review. Prior to becoming chair of the committee, Humphrey served as the firm's diversity partner as well as liaison to the firm's London office.

Kathlyn E. Noecker. An employment lawyer with more than 20 years experience, Noecker has been recognized as a leading lawyer in Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business (2005-2009). Prior to her election to the management committee, Noecker served as head of the firm's employment law group. She currently leads the firm's employment compliance practice. Noecker earned her undergraduate degree from the College of St. Catherine and her law degree, magna cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center.

Leslie A. Fields. An authority in the area of eminent domain law and complex land valuation and litigation, Fields is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, the premier professional organization for trial lawyers in the United States. Prior to her election to the management committee, Fields served as chair of Faegre & Benson's diversity committee, leading initiatives to promote and maintain a culture of diversity within the firm and in the extended legal community. Fields earned her undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Denver.
