Amy Judge-Prein Appointed President of Denison Alumni Council

Amy Judge-Prein of Baker & Daniels LLP has been appointed president of Denison University's Alumni Council, which has 21 active members and serves more than 30,000 alumni of the Granville, Ohio, school worldwide.

"Amy brings a wealth of experience as an attorney, plus years of dedicated service to Denison," said Steve Crawford, director of Denison Alumni Relations. "Her commitment to excellence and pride in her alma mater make her the ideal candidate to lead Denison's alumni body."

Judge-Prein received her bachelor's degree magna cum laude from Denison in 1989. She went on to graduate cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School in 1992.

At Baker & Daniels, Judge-Prein focuses her law practice on regulatory matters for a number of life sciences clients and chairs the firm's clinical research team. She counsels on clinical development, regulatory interactions, marketing practices, compliance, fraud and abuse, and risk management. Judge-Prein also chairs the Indiana Health Industry Forum's Clinical Trials Privacy Task Force and is past chair of the Indianapolis Bar Association's Women-In-Law Division.

Before joining Baker & Daniels, Judge-Prein spent 11 years in the law division at Eli Lilly and Company at its Indianapolis headquarters. She also was a judicial law clerk for the Hon. Sara Evans Barker in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana.

"The Denison experience is about much more than the snapshot in time spent as a student. My service to the Alumni Council continues to expand and deepen my connection with the university," Judge-Prein said in a Denison news release. "I look forward to the work of the Alumni Council as we help to continue to fulfill the mission of the University."

Judge-Prein is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Mortar Board, the national college senior honor society. She was awarded a Denison University President's Medal upon her graduation from the college.
