Sierra Club Honors Richard A. Duncan for Pro Bono Work

Faegre & Benson LLP partner Richard A. Duncan received the 2007 William O. Douglas Award from the Sierra Club at the organization’s recent annual meeting in San Francisco. The award is given annually for exemplary use of the legal process to achieve environmental goals.

The Sierra Club granted Duncan the award "for his tremendous record of pro bono representation on behalf of the Sierra Club."

Duncan’s practice focuses on environmental and commercial litigation. He has participated in cases ranging from representation of victims of major oil spills to representing nationally significant public lands and wildlife organizations in litigation against the federal government.
