City of Gary Develops Municipal Port Authority

United States - Indiana

Our firm has overseen the legislative work and development of a municipal Port Authority in Gary, Indiana based on the efforts of Kansas City, Missouri. The municipal port includes the development of a dock berth as well as cargo and inventory storage to support maritime activities that leverage the Great Lakes and river travel to access Europe through the St Lawrence passage way and Asia via the Mississippi River and the Panama Canal. In Bo’s previous municipal role, he played a major role in managing the relationship of the City of Newark with the New York/New Jersey Port Authority, including the Port of Newark and the Newark Liberty International Airport.
