DOJ Blocks Merger of National Health Insurers

The U.S. Department of Justice sought to block the $54 billion combination of two of largest national health insurers. Dylan Carson represented the DOJ in a three-week merger trial in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, prepared an expert economist for testimony and examined an adverse senior executive. The merger was enjoined.
