Insurer Beats Sales Practice Dispute

An insurance company litigated a jury trial of an insurance sales practice dispute in a rural Mississippi state court. Our firm represented the insurer in the action, which ended in a verdict for the plaintiff in an amount of less than 1% of the amount sought. On appeal, the Mississippi Supreme Court reversed the verdict entirely to become a defense verdict. James Oliver and Linda Wells v.
