Ted Wolff

Overview

Ted Wolff provides experienced guidance for clients navigating environmental issues in both disputes and transactional matters. He supports clients including retail, transportation, real estate, industrial goods, manufacturing, food service and health care organizations, along with government agencies.

Ted’s environmental litigation experience includes representing clients in federal and state courts, as well as in administrative actions. He advises clients on enforcement, creditor and debtor’s rights in bankruptcy, cost recovery, Superfund and permitting-related matters.

Clients also seek Ted’s guidance regarding compliance with federal, state and local environmental laws and policies, including those regulating the handling, transport, storage, treatment and disposal of hazardous substances and hazardous waste; asbestos handling, management and abatement; pesticide regulation; clean water and air matters; and employee and community disclosure.

He advises clients on a range of environmental concerns, including supply chain management, greening and sustainability. Whether you’re addressing the environmental facets of land transfers or other real estate and corporate transactions — such as environmental due diligence, risk evaluation, or allocation and shifting of environmental liabilities — Ted is equipped to support your business needs.

Ted guides companies through the development and execution of environmental management systems and sustainability programs, and he helps organizations create environmental training, emergency response and day-to-day compliance plans. He also has more than two decades of experience in brownfield cleanup and redevelopment, developing innovative approaches to address contaminated properties and facilitate restoration, redevelopment, reuse and sales.
