Overview

Andrea Scheder provides a clear-cut framework to see clients through mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and general corporate matters. Andrea has represented private equity firms and private and public companies, and she has worked across industries ranging from food and consumer services to energy.

With an eye toward optimizing clients’ ROI, Andrea helps draft and negotiate transaction documents, including purchase and merger agreements, joint venture governing documents and related ancillary agreements, as well as various commercial agreements.

Past Experience

Prior to joining the corporate group at Faegre Baker Daniels, Andrea served as a corporate associate for an international law firm in Dallas, which focused on private equity, M&A and intellectual property litigation. She also worked as a private equity/M&A associate at another global firm known for restructuring, M&A, litigation and private equity work.

During law school, Andrea worked as a legal research intern for the Irish Centre for Human Rights, a summer law clerk for a Nashville firm, and a legal intern for health care technology and payment processing company Emdeon, Inc.
