Sally D. Peterson

Senior Paralegal


With more than 20 years of experience in the immigration field, Sally Peterson assists attorneys in helping international organizations move executives, employees from around the world and their family members into the U.S. Her work includes preparing petitions, communicating with clients and managing information.
Sally assists primarily with B-1, H-1B, E, L-1A, L-1B and TN petitions, as well as their dependents applications. She also works on O-1 petitions for outstanding researchers and prepares lengthy written support for their visa applications, helping these highly skilled individuals conduct research. She prepares green card applications for permanently relocating employees and their families to the U.S.

Sally has worked for clients worldwide, including those based in Africa, Canada, Europe, India, the Middle East and South America.

Past Experience

Before joining the firm, Sally handled special projects for the International Rescue Committee, including community outreach and paperwork preparation and filing for refugees and asylees eligible for citizenship. She has previous experience as a consular officer with the State Department, where she was responsible for adjudicating immigrant and non-immigrant visas for foreign nationals coming to the U.S. and seeking visas for American Embassy personnel and their family members on assigned oversees.
