Overview
Prior to joining the firm, Elise was in-house legal counsel at The Northern Trust Company and, in part, represented Northern in its role as a service provider to employee benefit plans. While in law school, Elise was a student extern for the U.S. Department of Labor, Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA).
Personal Interests
Elise enjoys spending time with her husband and two young boys, playing tennis and looks forward to her annual trip to New York City for the U.S. Open tennis tournament.

Pro Bono
Elise regularly volunteers at the Pro Se Adult Guardianship Help Desk, administered by the Center for Disability and Elder Law, in conjunction with the Cook County Circuit Court and the Circuit Court Clerk. As a volunteer attorney, Elise assists individuals seeking to appear pro se in proceedings for adjudication of disability for an alleged disabled adult and appointment of a personal guardian. She provides information and assists pro se petitioners with the legal process and procedures, including filing the petition, calendar and judge and courtroom assignment, scheduling a hearing, issuance and service of summons, and service of notice.
