Sarah is an employment litigator who represents clients throughout the dispute process in claims related to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA), and the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA). She also assists with employer compliance issues and transactional due diligence.
Health Care Experience
Sarah helps health care entities stay compliant with regulations. She reviews hospital HIPAA policies, internal policies for health care provider agencies and clinical trial agreements. She also assists with compliance audits for hospitals.
Sarah works closely with school districts, advising them in handling employment issues, student disability matters, Title IX and other civil rights issues, and public access laws and records requirements.
During law school, Sarah was a judicial extern with Justice Mark Massa of the Indiana Supreme Court and a legal extern with Indiana Legal Services, Inc., in addition to working as a summer associate at Faegre Baker Daniels.
Before her legal career, Sarah served on the executive team of Worldwide Auctioneers, focusing on marketing, advertising, contracts and client relationships.
Sarah co-founded the Concours d’Elegance of Texas, a charitable organization that raises awareness and funds for multiple charities through the exhibition of the vintage automobiles.
