Overview

Cal Litsey is a trial lawyer who handles complex intellectual property and entertainment cases. He is a former head of the firm’s global IP practices and its Silicon Valley and Los Angeles offices.

Cal has successfully litigated copyright, patent, trade secret, trademark, advertising, media and entertainment cases throughout the United States and in proceedings in the U.K., Germany and Australia for a wide variety of companies and individuals, including Seagate Technology, Thomson Reuters, 3M, IHS Markit, Target, Warner Bros., Columbia Pictures, ASCAP and Prince. He has taught advanced IP and entertainment litigation seminars as an adjunct professor at multiple law schools.

Cal also advises clients on copyright and other IP commercial matters, including transactions involving music, works of art, publishing and other media.
