Andy Hansell advises clients on e-discovery best practices and services. He has more than 10 years of experience as a litigator in private practice and as in-house counsel.

Data Management

Andy’s experience as a practicing attorney, in-house counsel and legal services vendor give him a unique perspective as he counsels clients on:
  • Information governance
  • Storage and collection of electronic information
  • Cross-border discovery
  • Searching and culling of data sets
  • Managed document review, including technology-assisted review tools

Andy has experience designing e-discovery solutions on matters of all sizes, from bet-the-company litigation to matters with limited budgets. He assures that clients receive best-in-class collection, processing and managed review services from FaegreBD’s client technology solutions group.

Litigation Expertise

Andy has litigated and managed document collection and review projects for products liability litigation, employment disputes, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) investigations, consumer fraud class actions, intellectual property litigation, civil investigative demands and internal investigations.

Past Experience

Prior to joining Faegre Baker Daniels, Andy established and led a legal services delivery center for one the world’s largest legal services providers.

A lawyer, Andy has been a member of the national counsel team for a medical device manufacturer in an industry-wide MDL involving more than 500 cases and successfully represented a nationwide retailer in a consumer fraud class action. Additionally, Andy served as labor counsel for an airline’s flight operations.
