Overview

Stephanie Gumm helps companies grow and protect their intellectual property assets worldwide. She serves as a global brand management advisor — from counseling clients on strategic brand choices to trademark clearance, prosecution, licensing and enforcement.

A significant part of her practice involves assisting clients with developing and implementing anti-counterfeiting strategies. Stephanie has a solid background in advising clients on matters involving domain name clearance, registration and disputes and has represented clients in domain name disputes under the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy. Stephanie also advises clients on a wide range of copyright issues, including copyrightability, ownership, registration, licensing and fair use.

Personal Interests

In her free time, Stephanie is passionate about international travel, yoga and — though residence in the Midwest isn’t exactly conducive to it — surfing.
