Overview

Katherine Gordon advises clients on a number of employee issues and federal and state regulations impacting how employers operate.

Prior Experience

Katherine served as a student attorney in the Child Advocacy Law Clinic at the University of Michigan Law School. In that capacity she represented families in court proceedings and investigated a child’s well-being as Lawyer-Guardian Ad Litem. Katherine also assisted clients with immigration legal needs as a summer intern in Michigan Law’s Human Trafficking Clinic, as a student attorney for the International Refugee Assistance Project and as a law student volunteer for the Dilley Pro Bono Project.

Katherine summered with Faegre Drinker in 2020.

Prior to law school, Katherine helped clients and case managers navigate federal benefits and the healthcare system as the refugee health and benefits coordinator for a Kansas City nonprofit.
