Overview
The best cases never become enforcement matters in the first place. For those that do, Levi has resolved more than a dozen SEC, Department of Justice (DOJ) and other enforcement matters with no enforcement action taken. Levi has also reached favorable settlements with the government in several cases. And when necessary, Levi has gone to trial against the government, reaching a complete dismissal at trial against the SEC in one case and convincing the DOJ to dismiss all felony counts in another trial after five weeks.
In addition to his white collar work, Levi maintains an active commercial litigation practice. Virtually every business must contend with at least the prospect of commercial litigation, whether as plaintiff or defendant. Matters range from routine contract disputes to complex cases that threaten a company’s viability. Complex litigation continues to become more time-consuming and expensive than ever before. Levi has handled matters at all stages of litigation from pleading through trial — with efficient and effective results. Levi also routinely handles mediations, arbitrations, and other forms of alternative dispute resolution.
