Overview
As chief talent officer, Scott Connolly is responsible for talent strategy and management, human resources, attorney and staff recruiting, professional development, and employee engagement. Scott works with firm leadership in support of Faegre Drinker’s growth initiatives through planning and implementing effective talent strategies relating to the recruitment, development and retention of our attorneys, consultants, professionals and staff. Working closely with the firm’s chief diversity officer, Scott helps lead programs and identify opportunities that promote diversity at all levels across the firm. Additionally, he leads the implementation of actions that foster a culture of inclusion and collaboration based on Faegre Drinker’s core values to help create a healthy and productive workplace.
Experience
Over the years, Scott has served in several other roles at the firm. Most recently, he was the Managing Director of Litigation and Regulatory Services and led the firm’s professional development department. Earlier, Scott advanced to partner in the firm's corporate practice where he represented public and private clients in matters involving mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, public company reporting obligations, venture capital, corporate restructurings and general corporate matters.
