Prior Experience
Before joining Faegre Drinker, Hamilton worked as an assistant general counsel for a finance organization where he was responsible for advising the organization’s capital markets and trading businesses, as well as general corporate legal matters in connection with the organization’s wholesale business in the United States.
He also served at a Fortune 100 banking institution overseeing the bank’s compliance matters and identified, researched and implemented solutions to regulatory issues arising within the bank’s equities trading and capital markets origination businesses. Hamilton has also served as a legal extern at the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), and has interned in the Office of the General Counsel of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and served as a judicial intern in the First Circuit Court, 20th Judicial District in Tennessee.
