Overview
Holly Burke provides assistance to the firm’s clients and attorneys in connection with real estate and transactional matters.
With more than 20 years’ experience, Holly assists with transactional matters throughout the country, including lease abstracting, 1031 tax-deferred exchanges, credit facilities, educational bonds, liquor license transfers, corporate entity formation, sales and acquisitions, due diligence and project management. She provides support to the firm’s private client practice group, assisting with transfers of real property to trusts and beneficiaries. She also provides training in real estate matters to the firm’s paralegals and real estate associates.
Personal Interests
Holly is an avid genealogist, having traced her Irish family roots back to 1797. She loves travelling the world with her husband, Jim. Some of the countries she has previously visited include Ireland, Italy, South Africa, Egypt, Austria, and Germany. As part of her J.D. studies, she studied law in Havana, Cuba, and Johannesburg and Cape Town, South Africa. In 2017, she traveled with Rutgers Law School to the Dominican Republic to study nonprofit corporation law and participated in the building of a home for a local family.
