Michael (Mike) Brink helps public and nonprofit clients improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their operations, from services to technology to infrastructure. In more than 20 years as a consultant and a local government official, he has supported public-private partnerships (P3) across a range of fields including public works, human services, and utilities. He uses data analytics, employee engagement and process automation to help agencies enhance day-to-day operations, improve services and save public funds. His government consulting experience also includes strategic sourcing, project management and technology implementation.

Municipal Government Experience

Mike spent several years working in Indianapolis Mayor Stephen Goldsmith’s Enterprise Development Division, managing service improvement and cost reduction projects. He worked on major P3 projects including the airport and wastewater treatment systems while also managing several municipal contracts, such as the solid waste collection and abandoned vehicle removal service agreements. He performed more than a dozen operational assessment/performance improvement plans for city services.

Corporate Leadership

He has nine years of corporate leadership experience with General Electric and Affiliated Computer Services (ACS), focusing on process improvement, project management, sourcing and technology implementation projects. As a public sector consultant for the last eight years, Mike has worked with cities, counties, and states across the country. He has helped a range of clients address substantial budget challenges by finding service efficiencies and new sources of revenue. He has implemented employee gain sharing, managed competition and P3 projects for various clients.
