Overview

Edmond Ahadome vigorously advocates for clients’ patent rights in federal courts, including in U.S. district courts and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

With a background in biology and engineering in addition to well-rounded experience in a variety of complex intellectual property matters, Edmond helps clients in numerous industries and technologies — such as power management, mobile device technology, circuit design, oil refinery and medical devices — develop winning strategies to further their business objectives.

Edmond handles all stages of patent litigation, from complaint to trial and post-trial. He analyzes patents and prior art, drafts motions, prepares noninfringement and invalidity contentions, manages fact discovery, drafts claim construction and summary judgment briefs, conducts pre-litigation investigations, takes and defends depositions, prepares witnesses for depositions and trial, works with fact and expert witnesses to prepare declarations and expert reports, and prepares presentations for technical tutorials.

Engineering Experience

A former software engineer at Boston Scientific, Edmond has an insider’s perspective on the needs and concerns of clients within the medical technology sector and a strong grasp on the products that drive that industry. He has experience designing, developing and testing medical devices. At Boston Scientific, Edmond also worked directly with physicians and other clinicians to solve complex issues related to monitoring patients remotely.
