Community Involvement
Our office is proud to give back to the greater Albany region through civic and community service. With the same careful attention we bring to our legal work, our team devotes their time and talents to supporting organizations that advocate for food equality and diversity in the workplace, among other important causes.
Some community efforts include:
South End Children’s Café
The office collects food and has provided supplies and toys for the South End Children's Café, an organization with a mission to address food insecurity, food equality and food justice, enhance academic success, and positively influence the physical and mental health of children residing in the South End of Albany. The nonprofit offers free, healthy meals along with homework help, academic enrichment, mentoring, exercise and participation in the arts Monday through Friday.
St. Thomas the Apostle Church’s Giving Tree
We donate gifts to St. Thomas the Apostle Church’s Giving Tree. The Christmas gifts are given to more than 1,000 needy children, families and seniors through more than 20 organizations serving the Town of Bethlehem and beyond.
Parsons Parent and Child Society
Our attorneys and staff donate time to projects undertaken by the Parsons Parent and Child Society, an agency of Northern Rivers. Northern Rivers, through its agencies, provides help and hope to those who struggle with abuse, neglect, trauma, mental health challenges, educational difficulties, career training and employment, and service navigation through an innovative continuum of home-, clinic-, school- and community- based, vocational rehabilitative, supported employment and senior-supporting programs.
