In “MA Cuts Could Be Used To Help Pay For Reconciliation Package,” Faegre Drinker Consulting Principal Mike Adelberg spoke to InsideHealthPolicy about how lawmakers are considering using savings from Medicare Advantage (MA) to pay for additional Medicare fee-for-service benefits.
According to the publication, Senate Democrats are expected to try to move the $3.5 trillion reconciliation package through Congress later this year.
“The MA program has grown rapidly over the last half dozen years. It’s easy to imagine a Congress eager for pay-fors looking at MA,” said Adelberg.
