In the Shark Tank: Technologies to Achieve the Triple Aim in Global Health

District Policy President Ilisa Paul recently published an article in Morning Consult titled, “In the Shark Tank: Technologies to Achieve the Triple Aim in Global Health.” The article discussed the “Triple Aim” in global health, which seeks to improve global security, save lives and promote economic growth.

Ilisa states that the United Nations General Assembly can help achieve the global “Triple Aim” when it decides on worldwide health targets for the Sustainable Development Goals. However, the goals are ambitious and will be difficult to meet.

Ilisa suggests that decision makers should look towards the Innovation Countdown 2030, a recent effort identifying which technologies to prioritize, for guidance. Ilisa refers to this effort as “the global health community’s version of ‘Shark Tank.’”
