Washington, D.C., partner Bob Stoll wrote an article for IP Watchdog titled, “Methods of Organizing Human Activities.” The article discussed how the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is undertaking the implementation of recent Supreme Court cases, which fundamentally changed what is eligible for patent protection.
Previous subject matter guidelines were issued in March 2014 but have since been revised.
