Chinese Labor Law 2014 Year in Review

Labor and employment law in China underwent several significant changes in 2014 which have created challenges for human resources professionals. In an article published on SHRM.org, labor and employment partner Kevin Jones highlighted several of the most important developments from the past year.

Jones, who heads the firm’s labor and employment practice in China, outlined how efforts to expand rights to certain segments of the Chinese workforce, clarifications on laws surrounding workplace injuries and continued efforts to address incidents of employee unrest will be topics to watch in 2015.
