Patent Trolls: Friend or Foe?

Washington, D.C., partner Bob Stoll wrote an article that was recently published in WIPO Magazine. The article, titled, “Patent Trolls: Friend or Foe?” dives into the subject of, and debate surrounding, patent trolls and the issues that are likely to become more prominent as the monetization of patents continues to grow around the world.

While this article focuses on experiences in the U.S., patent litigation issues attributed to non-practicing entities already exist in certain jurisdictions, and it won’t be long before these issues gain traction in many others.
