The Current Role of Indigenous Peoples in Developing Energy and Natural Resources Projects

Overview

Washington, D.C., partner Paul Moorehead spoke at the World Law Group’s (WLG) Annual Meeting in Peru on October 19, 2012.

Paul participated in a discussion titled “The Current Role of Indigenous Peoples in Developing Energy and Natural Resources Projects.”

The discussion was the first WLG event dedicated to matters related to commercial project development and indigenous communities; there is an excellent chance of the WLG taking the next step to establish a more formal entity inside the WLG such as a committee or similar kind of forum.

Chicago partner David Kay is the current President of the World Law Group.
