Taking the Bridge from E-Discovery to Information Governance
Overview
Drinker Biddle partner Jay Brudz was part of a panel discussion entitled “Taking the Bridge from E-Discovery to Information Governance” during Exterro’s inFusion 2014 Conference.
As corporate data volumes continue to explode, e-discovery costs are following suit. Organizations are coming to realize that controlling these costs requires well-defined information governance (IG) policies that dictate the retention, use, access and storage of electronically stored information (ESI) across the enterprise. The session explored how applying lessons learned in e-discovery can help shape IG programs and the role legal can play in the process.
