Overview

Washington, D.C. Of Counsel Mark Denbo participated as a panelist at the National Association of Broadcasters’ annual Radio Show on September 18.

FCC Commissioner Ajit Pai kick-started a renewed interest in AM Radio. As a result, a variety of proposals have been suggested for ways to enhance the “listenability” of AM broadcasts - increased power, all-digital, translators, etc. This panel session continued a dialogue on viable options for AM.  Mark’s presentation and insights focused on the legal issues associated with revitalizing AM radio.
