Land Preservation and the Role of Regional Planning


Princeton partner Rich Goldman moderated a PlanSmart NJ .policy breakfast briefing titled, “Land Preservation and the Role of Regional Planning” on May 30 at the Johnson Education Center in Princeton, N.J. Rich serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of PlanSmart NJ, a statewide non-profit dedicated to advancing sound land use policy and planning to enhance the quality of life in New Jersey.

Rich discussed the legal aspects of land preservation. The panel also consisted of experts on land preservation strategies and deals from NJ Keep It Green, Morgan Stanley, the Dodge Foundation and D&R Greenway, who discussed the regional planning considerations and priorities that inform planning for land preservation and its significant role in traditional land use planning issues and quality of life.
