2011 Contract Administration

Overview

Geoffrey T. Keating, a member of the Commercial Litigation Practice Group focusing on construction and government contracts in the Washington, D.C., office, continues his 20-year affiliation with the International Law Institute (ILI) as an adjunct faculty member. 

 

Geoff was also the Course Advisor for “2011 Contract Administration,” a two-week course held in October 2011.  This course focused on providing the knowledge and skills needed to administer and manage international contracts. 

Geoff lectured on managing performance, types of contracts, claims and disputes. 

 

This program, and others presented at the International Law Institute, is attended by senior procurement officials and professionals from government ministries and agencies of developing countries around the world.

 

The International Law Institute was founded as a part of Georgetown University in 1955 to assist in the building of government, addressing economic conditions and infrastructure in post-war Europe. 

 

Since its independence in 1983, the ILI has become a leading authority and global provider of training and assistance on international legal, economic and financial issues.  Based in Washington, D.C., it has regional centers in Uganda, Nigeria, Egypt and Chile.
