e-Discovery for the Corporate Market Conferences

Overview

New York, New York; Chicago, Illinois

Philadelphia partner David Kessler served as a lead moderator at the Executive Counsel Institute’s e-Discovery for the Corporate Market Conferences, taking place around the country. The first conference took place in New York City July 12-13, 2010; the second in Chicago, August 2-3, 2010.

The highly interactive colloquium is designed to provide a deep understanding of, and practical advice regarding, major e-discovery challenges facing organizations today. Aimed specifically at in-house counsel, the conference will consist of a series of 10 in-depth roundtable discussions moderated by leaders in the e-discovery arena. David and his co-presenters will build on a set of frequently encountered factual and legal issues and will develop practical solutions alongside attendees and moderators. Discussion topics will include: creating a routine and repeatable e-discovery business process; dealing with challenges of litigation holds; recognizing and reconciling the tensions between inside and outside counsel; the importance of project and process management skills; effective cost and risk containment steps; the need to document your e-discovery efforts; and real ECA and risk analysis.
