Princeton partner Joseph Schmidt and Florham Park partner Sean Monaghan spoke at the New Jersey Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel’s 8th Annual Full Day conference. Joe, who concentrates his practice in environmental law, moderated a panel discussion of changes wrought by New Jersey's new Site Remediation Reform Act (SRRA) and the impact of its Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) program. Sean, also a member of the firm’s Environment and Energy Practice Group, and the other panellists, Irene Kropp, Deputy Commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, and Daniele Cervino, Vice President and General Counsel of EWMA, covered the major changes of the SRRA, the powers and duties of LSRPs and the issues arising in connection with the implementation of the new program.
