Back to the Future: A History and Prediction for Software

Washington, D.C. partner and co-chair of the IP group Bob Stoll participated in the Practicing Law Institute’s 9th Patent Law Institute on March 16-17, 2015 in San Francisco.  Bob shared the podium with Gene Quinn, from IP Watchdog, on a breakout session on the second day of the conference entitled “Back to the Future:  A History and Prediction for Software”.  The panelists discussed issues relating to software subject matter eligibility for patent protection.
