Association of Legal Administrators

Going Green Tips

Philadelphia Intellectual Property associate Dan Reilly gave a presentation on the Greater Philadelphia Green Business Program (GPGBP) to the Philadelphia chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators about.  The GPGBP was created in 2009 by local business leaders, (including Dan and Philadelphia partner Bonnie Barnett), and is overseen by an organizing committee (also including Dan and Bonnie) in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Environmental Council.  GPGBP’s main goal is to give local businesses a blueprint for implementing and measuring their sustainability initiatives.

At the March 16 presentation, Dan provided an overview of the GPGBP and the tips and tools it provides for greening an office environment, as well as examples of some of the direct costs/cost savings of implementing various green practices.
