ANNA’s 2011 Health Policy Priorities

Overview

Washington, D.C., Government Relations Director Jim Twaddell presented at the American Nephrology Nurses’ Association’s (ANNA) Volunteer Leaders’ Workshop in Boston, Mass., on March 26, 2011.  ANNA is a professional nursing organization of over 12,000 registered nurses practicing in nephrology, transplantation and related therapies.  ANNA works to promote excellence by advancing nephrology nursing practice and positively influence outcomes for individuals with kidney disease.

 

Jim, a member of the Government & Regulatory Affairs Practice Group, focused on ANNA’s 2011 health policy priorities and provided an overview of the current political climate and recent actions relating to health care reform implementation.
