Bob Stoll Speaks at Annual AIPLA Meeting

Overview

On October 24, 2019, Washington, D.C. partner and co-chair of the Intellectual Property Group, Bob Stoll, spoke to the Biotechnology Committee of the AIPLA during the AIPLA Annual Meeting at the Gaylord Hotel in Oxen Hill, MD on patent subject-matter eligibility. Over 50 attorneys attended his presentation.

The AIPLA Annual Meeting is one of the most important global gatherings of the intellectual property law community. This event has occurred for decades and regularly attracts more than 1,900 intellectual property practitioners from corporations, law firms, government, and academia who come together every year to teach, learn and explore.

The AIPLA’s Biotechnology Committee strives to be an active resource and open forum for biotechnology patent practitioners. Topics of interest (controversial or otherwise) are covered in various forums such as the committees’ website and CLE programs at the stated meetings. The Committee also serves as a resource for AIPLA when positions relevant to biotechnology are taken.
