HR Bootcamp: Handling Harassment in the Performing Arts Workplace—Backstage, Onstage, Front of House, and in the Office

Overview

New York partner Jerry Hathaway spoke at the Association of Performing Arts Professionals’ annual member’s conference on January 5th, 2019. The conference welcomed 3,600 members and peers from 49 U.S. states and more than 29 countries for five days of professional development, showcases, networking and the world's largest performing arts marketplace.

Jerry spoke during a panel presentation titled “HR Bootcamp: Handling Harassment in the Performing Arts Workplace—Backstage, Onstage, Front of House, and in the Office.” The session explored the various (and unspoken) places harassment can exist in the performing arts industry, guided participants on how to address these challenges and offered counsel on implementing and enforcing clear strategies and policies.
