Bob Stoll Speaks at Dolby’s Roundtable on Intellectual Property

Washington, D.C., partner and co-chair of the Intellectual Property group Bob Stoll led a recent roundtable as part of Dolby’s “Emmys Weekend.” Bob was invited by Dolby general counsel Andy Sherman to discuss current intellectual property issues being discussed in D.C. Bob talked about patent subject matter eligibility, post-grant reforms, possible IP legislation, rule changes from the USPTO and important IP trends.
The group of about 15 IP leaders included Mike Lee, Head of Patents for Google; Lyse Brillouet, VP for IP at Orange; BJ Watrous, Chief IP Counsel for Apple; JP Hong, Assistant GC for Samsung; Scott Hayden, IP VP for Amazon; Mark Brazeal, Chief Legal Officer for Broadcom; Boris Teksler, CEO of Conversant; John Zhang, IP Director for Hisense; and Tim Crean, Head of Patent Strategy for Via Licensing.
