Bob Stoll Speaks at IP Workshop in Saudi Arabia

Bob Stoll, partner and co-chair of the Intellectual Property group in Washington, D.C., participated in a workshop in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at the request of the United States Patent and Trademark Office and with the support of the Boston Consulting Group on April 16, 2018. There were over 70 government and industry leaders in attendance. The focus of the workshop was to help merge Saudi Arabia’s intellectual property offices and provide an infrastructure to help transform the country’s carbon-based economy into an intellectual property-focused economy. 

Bob explained what organizational structures and policies will enhance Saudi IP capabilities and what international IP treaties need to be ratified to fulfill the Saudi government’s quest to be an IP powerhouse.
