Bob Stoll Moderates Panel at Chamber of Commerce Intellectual Property Program
Overview
Bob Stoll, partner and co-chair of the Intellectual Property group in Washington, D.C., participated in a program co-sponsored by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Global Innovation Policy Center and the American Intellectual Property Lawyers Association, entitled “Investing in American Innovation: Is the U.S. Patent Environment Promoting or Limiting Investment?” The event was held on April 11, 2018, at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Washington, D.C., and had over 100 lawyers in attendance. The morning keynote address was provided by U.S. Patent and Trademark Office Director Andrei Iancu, who was confirmed unanimously by the Senate in February. Judge Kimberly Moore of the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit presented the afternoon keynote. Bob moderated a panel discussion, “Domestic Innovation and Investment: Good News or Bad?” featuring Marian Underweiser of IBM, Brian Cocca of Regeneron and Jeffrey H. Dean of Amazon.
