Mike Zogby Co-Chairs Lawyers for Tri-County Annual Awards Dinner

Florham Park partner Mike Zogby, a trustee of the Tri-County Scholarship Fund, co-chaired the Lawyers for Tri-County Annual Awards Dinner at the Canoe Brook Country Club on May 4 in Summit, New Jersey, with Sam Khichi, Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of C.R. Bard, Inc.

More than 100 people attended the event honoring the Hon. Michael Shipp, United States District Judge for the District of New Jersey; Paulette Brown of Locke Lord; the McElroy Deutsch firm; and Tom Moriarty, Executive Vice President and General Counsel of CVS. Mike gave the invocation and introduced Judge Shipp as the event’s judicial honoree.

The event raises funds to support the Freedom Scholars program, which is offered to students entering high school throughout northern and central New Jersey. The Freedom Scholars program assists students in financial need as well as those with high academic achievement. It is a four-way partnership between Tri-County, participating high schools, students, and their parents or guardians, and enables students to choose values-centered, high-performing private schools. Tri-County awards scholarships that cover a little less than half of tuition cost, and that amount is matched by the participating schools, leaving the family a minimal balance to pay towards tuition. The Freedom Scholars program is a commitment for all four years of high school.
