Federal Circuit Developments on Subject Matter Eligibility Issues

Overview

On July 22, 2016, Washington, D.C. partner and co-chair of the IP group Bob Stoll spoke to 150 Intellectual Property experts at the Center for Advanced Study and Research on Innovation Policy (CASRIP) in a session titled, "Federal Circuit Developments on Subject Matter Eligibility Issues.” The discussion took place on the campus of the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. Bob spoke on patent subject matter eligibility issues and commented on the recent spate of cases in which the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit has upheld patents challenged as ineligible.
