Matthew Amodeo Featured in Accountable Care News on Private Sector and Federal Accountable Care

Albany partner Matthew Amodeo contributed to the Thought Leaders’ Corner in the February 2018 edition of Accountable Care News. The column features a panel of industry experts who discuss a topic submitted by a subscriber. February’s column discussed predictions about 2018’s biggest news in private sector accountable care and in federal accountable care programs.

Matthew predicted that the biggest news in private sector accountable care will be the proliferation of direct-to-employer accountable care arrangements. He added that employers are drawn to these types of arrangements because of their flexibility and the potential to generate savings. As for federal accountable care programs, Matthew predicted a rise in Accountable Care Organizations entering downside risk models under the Medicare Shared Savings Program.
